Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated its Vice Chairman, Hajia Fatimah Binta Abubakar Mora, on her appointment as the General Manager of Harmony 103.5 FM, Idofian.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Ahmed ‘Lanre Abdullateef, and Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, the Union expressed its satisfaction with Mora’s choice.
The Union noted that her colossal experience in television and radio broadcasting made the appointment apposite and timely.
NUJ described the appointment as well-deserved recognition of her dedication and professionalism
It expressed confidence that she would bring her wealth of knowledge and leadership skills to bear in enhancing the station’s operations, programming, and overall impact on the media landscape in Kwara State and beyond.
The Union also offered prayers for Allah’s wisdom, guidance, and strength for Hajia Mora as she embarks on this new phase, urging her to continue upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical journalism.
In the same vein, the NUJ congratulated Hajia Kuburat Sampsondeen on her appointment as the new Head of Programmes at Harmony FM and commended her track records of excellence in broadcasting.
The Union reaffirmed its support for both the new General Manager and Head of Programmes, pledging to collaborate with them in advancing the station’s mission of quality broadcasting and ethical journalism.
