Senator Representing Kwara-North Senatorial District, Senator Sulaiman Sadiq-Umar dropped this hint at the speaking on the topic Pros and Cons of ongoing Constitutional Review at 2025 Kwara State Television Authority KWTV NUJ Chapel Press Week held at Press Centre, Ilorin

He alluded that the ongoing review presents an opportunity for broader inclusion particularly to give voice to historically marginalized groups and allows the Nigerian people to take ownership of their governance.
Senator Sadiq-Umar opined that the review offers a platform to entrench gender and youth inclusion, ensuring that the democracy is truly participatory and also presents the chance to deepen federalism, through mechanisms like devolution of powers, state policing, and enhanced local government autonomy.
The Senator charged journalists as fourth estate of the realm to demystify the process, inform citizens, and hold leaders accountable achieve an egalitarian nation.
