Lagos Commissioner Urges Youths To Lead Digital Transformation

Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, has urged Nigerian youths to take full ownership of the nation’s digital transformation.
He stressed that youths must move from simply using technology to actively creating it.
His remarks were contained in a statement issued by the convener of Web3 in Motion, Samuel Oladokun in Lagos
Mr. Oladokun said the commissioner’s message highlighted the essential role young Nigerians must play in shaping the country’s digital future.
The event, held in Lagos and themed “Web3 in Motion: From Pipelines to Platforms,” brought together speakers and participants from government, decentralised finance, regulation, and community development.
Mr. Oladokun, popularly known as XeusTheGreat and founder of Nirvana Academy, said the theme underscored the need for Africans to take the lead in the global digital economy.
The conference featured over 30 speakers and exhibitors across several sectors, including government, decentralised finance, regulation, and community development.
