Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has joined family, friends, and the media community in the state to celebrate veteran journalist and statesman Alhaji Tunde Akanbi on his 65th birthday today, August 4.
Governor AbdulRazaq in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye commended Alhaji Akanbi’s appreciable blend of his media expertise and ethics with community service over the years, using his experience and network to promote public good.
The Governor thanked the veteran journalist for his profound contributions to the media practice and his support and mentorship for younger journalists in the state, including through the National League of Veteran Journalists, which he currently chairs.
He asked Allaah to give Alhaji Tunde Akanbi many years in good health and service to the people and the community.
