Ahead of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention scheduled for the 28th of this month, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives, Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole (KAB), has officially joined the party’s high-level planning machinery.

Dr. Bankole, an aspirant for the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke Ero Federal Constituency, attended the inaugural meeting of the APC National Convention Venue Committee held in Abuja.

His inclusion in this critical committee underscores his rising profile and influence within the party structure as the 2026 elections approach.

The Venue Committee, which is tasked with the monumental responsibility of coordinating the logistics and physical arrangements for the convention, is chaired by the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Dapo Abiodun.

The committee’s leadership is further bolstered by the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, who serves in a key capacity to ensure the event’s success.

During the inaugural session, members were officially charged with the mandate to secure and manage venue arrangements that reflect the strength, unity, and organizational capacity of the All Progressives Congress.

Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Bankole—a former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly Commission and the founder of KAB Construction Limited reaffirmed his dedication to the task at hand.

He joined other distinguished committee members in pledging their commitment to ensuring that every logistical detail is meticulously handled to deliver a smooth, successful, and memorable national convention.

According to him, this responsibility is a call to service, and felt honoured to work alongside  party leaders to ensure that the venue arrangements showcase the cohesion and strength of our great party,” Dr. Bankole stated.

Political observers note that Dr. Bankole’s appointment to such a sensitive committee is a strategic move that allows him to build consensus among delegates and party stakeholders from across the nation as he intensifies his consultations ahead of the primary elections for the federal constituency seat.
