KWASU’s Ilorin Emirate Celebrates Newly Promoted Members To Professorial Rank

Ilorin Emirate Staff Association, Kwara State University, KWASU Malete has congratulated newly promoted members to full Professors and Associate Professors of the institution.

This is contained in a in a Congratulatory Message to the scholars endorsed by its General Secretary, Dr Abdullahi Bakare.

Dr Bakare acknowledged their hard work and research contributions to humanity.

The Ilorin Emirate Community welcomes them to its swelling ranks of learned celebrities in the Ilorin Emirate Circle’s Hall of Fame.

He noted that nine staff from the Ilorin Emirate are among those promoted, including four full professors and five associate professors.

The promoted full professors are Professor Sikiru Ottan Abdulrahman (Materials Development, Mining Operations, Machineries, and Corrosion Phenomena) , Professor Lambe Mutalub Adesina (Electrical Power Systems, Control and Renewable Energy), Professor Jimoh Ajadi (Mineral Exploration/Geochemistry) and Professor Lukman Bola Abdulrauf (Analytical and Environmental Chemistry)

It would be recalled that Governing Council of Kwara State University, Malete approved the promotion of 45 staff to the professorial cadre, with 20 achieving full Professorship and 25 becoming Associate Professors.
