The death of Engineer Yusuph Olatunji Aliyu of Monarchs’ Hotels International has been described as shocking, unfortunate and painful.
Nigeria Union of Journalists, Radio Kwara Chapel, stated this in a condolence message, jointly penned by its Vice-Chairman, Mrs. Maryam Abdul-Kadir Yusuph and Secretary, Mallam Saheed Abdullah.
The statement identified late Engineer Yusuph Aliyu as a globally-recognised petrochemical engineer of outstanding career with Shell Oil International in Canada.
It recalled that late Engineer Yusuph Aliyu retired gloriously and returned home to embark on community and human capital development programmes, entrepreneurial and humanitarian services to improve the lives of the people.
According to the statement, late Engineer Yusuph Aliyu was an epitome of simplicy and humility with passionate interest in serving humanity through economic and vocational empowerment initiatives as well as various social support .
The union claimed to be a beneficiary of such humanitarian gestures as the late Hospitality Management Chief Executive was a positive reference on its “Rostrum of Honour”.
It however, prayed Allah to grant the repose of the soul of Engineer Yusuph Aliyu, eternal rest in Aljanat and the entire families, the fortitude to bear the grief.
