Frontline Kwara North Senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Engr. Taoheed Daud Toyin, has declared total loyalty to Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, affirming that he would abide by all decisions of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Engr. Taoheed , an APC chieftain from Moro Local Government Area, described AbdulRazaq as the undisputed leader of the party in Kwara State, commending his style of leadership, commitment to development, and efforts at sustaining party unity.
In a statement, the Aspirant said the governor had continued to provide purposeful direction for the APC in the state through inclusive leadership and strategic governance initiatives.
He noted that AbdulRazaq’s administration had also created business and economic opportunities that have contributed to the empowerment of residents across the state.
Engr. Taoheed stressed that party discipline, loyalty, and respect for constituted authority remained essential to the continued success of the APC.
He pledged to align with the directives and outcomes of the party leadership concerning the senatorial contest.
The Politician further reaffirmed his loyalty to Governor AbdulRazaq in his capacity as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Sarduna of Ilorin Emirate, describing him as a father figure whose leadership has strengthened political stability and progress in the state.
The Aspirant also announced that he had purchased his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the Kwara North Senatorial seat under the APC.
According to him, the forms are endorsed by 120 bonafide APC members drawn from the five local government areas of the district.
Engr. Taoheed said the move signified his readiness to offer quality representation anchored on competence, experience, and capacity to deliver measurable results for the people of Kwara North.
He assured party members, supporters, and residents of the district of his commitment to pursuing a future driven by growth, stability, and shared prosperity.
