22 Players Make Final Squad Of Kwara United Queens FC

Following the conclusion of the screening exercise and the Kwara First Lady Pre-Season Championship, 22 players have been shortlisted for Kwara United Queens Football Club, Ilorin.

In a statement released by the Club Secretary, Mrs. Yusuf Madiyyah, on Friday, May 15, 2026, the management of Kwara United Queens FC appreciated all participants for their dedication, commitment, and impressive performances throughout the screening process and the championship organised in honour of the Kwara State First Lady.

The statement also encouraged players who were not selected not to lose hope, assuring them of possible opportunities in the nearest future.

“We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for your participation, dedication, and commitment throughout the screening process and the championship.

To those who were not selected, we truly appreciate your efforts and sincerely hope to partner with you in the nearest future.

We wish you success in all your future endeavours,” the statement read.

The newly established and well-structured Kwara State-owned female football team finished as runners-up in the Kwara First Lady Pre-Season Championship after losing to Jagunmolu Queens via penalty shootout in the final.
