Mutawali of Ilorin, Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq has has expressed gratitude to Nigerians, particularly Kwarans, for the outpouring of love and goodwill received during the celebration of his 70th birthday anniversary.
In a message of appreciation personally signed by him, Dr Abdulrazaq noted that the milestone was marked with prayers, messages, and expressions of affection from across the country.
He particularly appreciated President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Assembly, Governor of Kwara State Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State, Professor Olufolake Abdulrazaq Kwara Deputy Governor and wife, Hon. Attorney General of the Federation – Prince Lateef Fagbemi, The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly – Danladi Salihu
He also thanked HRH The Emir of Ilorin, Oloffa of Offa, Their Royal Highnesses, members of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, State cabinet members, Local Government Chairmen of all 16 LGAs in Kwara State, All Kwara APC State Party Chairman and State Exco and Party Excos of all LGs and Wards.
The Legal Icon thanked Chief Imam of Ilorin, Imam Imale, The 4 Baloguns of Ilorin, President , Exco and entire membership of the IEDPU,Engr. Lanre Sagaya, Zanna of Ilorin, Hajia Muinat Shagaya, Sarauniya of Ilorin, Aliko Dangote, the President of Dangote Industries Abdulsamad Rabiu, Chairman BUA Group and Mr.Femi Otedola, Chairman First HoldCo plc.
He said he was deeply overwhelmed and humbled by the warmth shown to him on the day.
According to him, the special prayer session and other activities held in his honour made the occasion memorable and profoundly meaningful.
The celebrant acknowledged the contributions of his family members, friends, associates, colleagues, supporters, admirers, and various groups who made the event remarkable and noted that their collective efforts reflected genuine love and solidarity.
Dr Abdulrazaq also extended special recognition to eminent citizens and distinguished personalities who identified with him during the celebration. Among those mentioned was the Mutawali of Ilorin, whose presence and support he described as noteworthy.
The celebrant said the goodwill, prayers and soul-lifting messages received reinforced his commitment to service and community development and pointed out that such support inspires greater responsibility to the people.
Dr Abdulrazaq expressed profound gratitude to all those who celebrated with him, prayed for him, and sent felicitations, saying their love and support will remain etched in his memory.
