Chairman of the Nigerian Library Association, Kwara State Chapter, Dr. Bello Abdullateef, has extended warm greetings to Muslim members of the association on the occasion of Mawlid Nabiyy.
In a Goodwill Message today Dr. Abdullateef described the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) as a significant moment for reflection and spiritual renewal.
He said the occasion provides an opportunity for Muslims to remember the exemplary life, teachings, and character of the Prophet.
According to him, the Prophet’s life embodied compassion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to knowledge and service to humanity.
Dr. Abdullateef noted that these values remain relevant to professionals, particularly those in the library and information sector who are custodians of knowledge.
He prayed that Allah grants members the wisdom and strength to emulate the noble qualities demonstrated by the Holy Prophet during his lifetime.
The NLA Chairman also prayed for peace and prosperity for the families of members across the state.
He further sought divine guidance for members in both their professional duties and personal endeavours.
Dr. Abdullateef urged Muslim librarians to use the season to promote unity, tolerance, and service to the community.
He wished all Muslim members “Eid Mawlid Al-Nabyyi Mubarak,” praying that the sacred occasion brings abundant blessings, peace, unity, and joy to them and their loved ones.
