The Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji  AbdulRaheem Amoo Oladimeji (OFR), has hailed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on the conferment of the traditional title of Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate on him.
Oladimeji, who is the Jagunmolu of Igbomina Land land, Arogundade of Lagos and Baba Oba of Offa, said the Governor’s dedication to peace, human capital development, education and the overall wellbeing of the people he led exemplifies the values embodied in the title of Sardauna.
This is contained in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to Journalists in Ilorin.
He thanked the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for bestowing the prestigious traditional title on the Governor.
The Varsity founder particularly acknowledged Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to the progress and development of Kwara through a series of policies, programmes and infrastructural projects.
As a lifelong advocate of education and the Founder of Al-Hikmah University, he pointed out that he had followed with keen interest the Governor administration’s commitment to the progress and development of Kwara State.
According to him, his dedication to peace, human capital development, education and the overall wellbeing of the people exemplifies the values embodied in the title of Sardauna, a leader committed to the protection, advancement and upliftment of his community.
Alhaji Oladimeji also extended his warmest welcome to His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima (GCON), who graciously represents His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), in this historic occasion.
He noted that the Vice President’s presence in Ilorin, is a source of immense pride to the people of Kwara State and further demonstrates the strong bond between the federal government and our state.
