National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, has emerged President of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI).
Engr. Ibrahim was announced as the new President following a keenly contested election at the 11th Annual General Meeting of FEWACCI in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
As he assumes this new role, Engr. Ibrahim is expected to advance cooperation among chambers of commerce, strengthen regional economic integration, promote intra-West African trade, and champion policies that support enterprise growth and shared prosperity across the region.
His emergence further reinforces Nigeria’s leadership in regional commerce and positions FEWACCI for a new era of purposeful engagement, stronger partnerships, and sustainable economic development.
In a congratulatory message, the NACCIMA Secretariat in both Abuja and Lagos welcomed the emergence of Engr. Ibrahim as FEWACCI President, describing it as a remarkable recognition of his leadership, experience, integrity, and commitment to the growth of the private sector and business community.
The statement, signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, said the prestigious election is not only a great personal honour for Engr. Ibrahim, but also a significant achievement for NACCIMA and Nigeria.
NACCIMA is deeply proud of this achievement and confident that his wealth of experience and visionary leadership will further advance the objectives of FEWACCI.
Mrs Adigun-Oladotun noted that his new position presents another opportunity to strengthen regional trade, investment, economic cooperation, and private-sector partnerships among West African countries.
The NACCIMA National PRO prayed for more wisdom, strength and good health for Engr. Jani Ibrahim.
She also prayed that his tenure bring greater prosperity, stronger regional collaboration and renewed opportunities for businesses across West Africa.
