Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has bestowed Chieftaincy Titles on a consummate Legal Luminary, Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN and Former Lawmaker representing Ilorin East -South at the House of Representatives, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Saka Cook Olododo
Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Philanthropist appointed as the Kuliyan of Ilorin Emirate, translating to “Pinnacle of the Law” or “Peak of the Law.”
Professor Ali is to oversee legal matters within the Emirate, advising the Emir and leading the Emirate’s legal team as Kuliyan Ngeri
Similarly, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Saka Cook Olododo, clinched the Gaskiya of Ilorin Emirate, which connotes “The Truth”
Alhaji Olododo whose title was derived from his name is expected to serve as a trusted advisor, by providing the Emir with the truthful counsel on the affairs of the Emirate.
Pronouncing The Chieftaincy Titles at the palace during the visit by the duo, Emir of Ilorin, Doctor Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari said the appointments are based on the individual merits of the holders for their exceptional service and dedication to the Community.
Doctor Zulu-Gambari described their consideration as a recognition of their commitment to the ancient city of Ilorin
