Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the immediate past Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in the state, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi, on the dual occasion of his 60th birthday and his successful retirement from the Federal Civil Service.
In a statement jointly signed by the Council’s Chairman, Ahmed ‘Lanre Abdul-lateef, and Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, the NUJ praised Mr Adeyemi for his exemplary service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the federal government throughout his career.
It commended his efforts, particularly in engendering and promoting good communication and understanding between the government and the general public.
The NUJ leadership lauded the retiring NOA Director for exhibiting competence in ensuring that government policies and programmes were well-articulated and effectively communicated to the people, emphasizing that his contributions have left a lasting impact on public enlightenment and civic education in Kwara State.
