The Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has begun the rehabilitation and upgrading of Tanke Junction – General Tunde Idiagbon bridge.
A Statement by the Senior Special Assistant, New Media to the Governor, Olayinka Fafoluyi said aside from the ongoing road upgrade, setbacks are being reclaimed along the route, while streetlights and several other projects are also lined up for execution before the bridge is finally commissioned.
The Statement pointed out that General Tunde Idiagbon bridge has since been completed by the Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration and is ready for commissioning.
It maintained that in the last five years, Governor AbdulRazaq has embarked on the construction of two bridges, constructed, rehabilitated and upgraded several roads across the state, all to ease vehicle movement, boost the State’s economy and attract investors.
