Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria [MMWG] has extolled the virtues of the Emir of Ilorin Mai Martaba Sarkin Ilori – Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR as he celebrates 29th Years on the throne of his forefathers today.
In a Congratulatory Message, jointly signed by the National Coordinator of the Group Alh. Ibrahim Abdullahi and the National Secretary, Dr. Nasir Balogun, the Group commended the Royal Father, for towing the path of his predecessors especially the 9th Emir of Ilorin Dr. Zul-Qarnaini Gambari Mohammed who was selfless and dedicated to the service of the people.
The Group also outlined the fact that the islamic cultural values of unity, progress and educational development are being given prominent places.
It therefore appealed to the Emir to continue to pursue the goals of peace, development and progress of Ilorin Emirate in particular and Kwara State as a whole.
As a foremost Traditional Ruler in Northern Nigeria, the Media Group implored the Emir of Ilorin to continue to use his influence in supporting Federal and State Governments in fighting insecurity, poverty and educational setbacks facing the people of Northern Nigeria.
While praying for long-life and sound health for the Emir, the Group appealed to all well-meaning Kwarans and Nigerians as a whole to continue to praise the Royal Father for his commitment and dedication to peace and stability of the Country
