Kwara State Government has mandated all the staff under the payroll of Kwara State Local Government to register with Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWASRRA) across the 16 Local Government Council Secretariats.

Executive Chairman, Kwara State Local Government Service Commission and Kwara State Local Government Pension Board, Alhaji Umar Danladi Shero announced this in a statement personally signed by him

Alhaji Danlad-Shero noted that the  exercise is not meant to witch hunt any officer but rather was intended to get accurate numbers and to ensure they provide any other necessary information for adequate policy formation.

The Executive Chairman further made it known that all the necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a hitch free registration exercise having earlier sent a circular to all the 16 councils.

He however said any staff who decides to make his or herself unavailable for the exercise will be considered as an illegitimate officer of the council.

Alhaji Danlad-Shero noted that the new policy by the state government of ‘No Registration No Salary and Bonus’ will not be hesitated to be applied.
