Kwara North Integrity Youth Forum (KNIYF) has congratulated the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) on the success of its Annual Conference.
This is contained in a Congratulatory Message by its Secretary, Mohammed Dauda Baniya.
They pledged to continue to regard Ilorin Emirate as brothers and sustain their shared commitment to the development of Ilorin Emirate, which hosts the state Capital.
According to them, in consonance with the acknowledgement of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s strides, they stated their recognition of the giant strides of the Governor in Kwara North, both in public and private capacity.
The Group listed  200km Bode-Saadu to Kaiama road project worth about 250 billion naira, the largest single road project in the state’s history, facilitated by Governor AbdulRazaq and his personal donations to Duku irrigation, Lade among others as laudable.
It pointed out that it is ironic that this faceless group, with no track record of facilitating meaningful projects or any intervention whatsoever for their senatorial district, has suddenly surfaced to criticize a government that has consistently demonstrated genuine and practical commitment to addressing the challenges faced by Kwara Northerners in the past decades.
The Group maintained that the individuals operating under the banner of the Kwara North Development Commission are unknown to them as they appear to be fifth columnists, driven by envy of the Governor’s numerous achievements in Kwara North and across the state.
It charged the populace ignore the faceless groups entirely, as they hold no relevance in the broader scheme of progress and development in Kwara North.
They respectfully admonished the IEDPU to shun politically orchestrated attacks by a faceless group whose supposed position are being circulated only by members of the opposition parties in the State.
Kwara North Integrity Youth Forum therefore extended hands of fellowship to IEDPU, to rally its members for the sustenance of the harmonious coexistence among the three Senatorial Districts through promotion of equity and fairness by supporting Kwara North aspiration to govern the state.
