Immediate past Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Kwara State, Architect Aliyu Muhammad-Saifudden has called on Kwara Central and South brothers to give Kwara North a chance to contest Governorship seat between one another.
Architect Muhammad-Saifudden in a statement personally signed by him agreed with zoning of Gubernatorial position to Kwara North to promote inclusiveness by eliminating discrimination and marginalization for socio-economic and political development across board.
He charged the people of Kwara North to support whoever qualified and has thrown in his hat for the number one seat in the State come 2027
He advised all Local Governments in Kwara North to encourage their politicians to contest especially, Baruten-Kaiama Federal Constituency.
According to him, Baruten-Kaiama Federal Constituency has never produced the Governor for the state while the Senate already zoned to Edu-Moro-Patigi Federal Constituency.
The Former Commissioner opined that the struggle for Governorship among Kwara Northerners should not be taken as a reason to say the zone is not united
He assured Kwarans that Kwara North people are ready to produce the best candidate for the entire state.
Architect Muhammad-Saifudden who is a Council Member, Architects Registration of Nigeria ARCON, noted that Kwara North is looking forward to what indigene Governor is going to do for the people of his community as their first altruistic choice is to prioritize themselves.
The Former Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs explained that his political experience has also revealed that so many politicians and Royal Fathers across the state also welcome the gubernatorial zoning now to Kwara North as one that promotes equity and fairness.
He thanked Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his unwavering support for Kwara North throughout his administration so far and reminded him of Kwara Northerners request during his campaigns to kindly consider them after his second term.
Architect Muhammad-Saifudden described Governor Abdulrazaq as a man of honour, justice, proven character as entire people of Kwara North look forward to his support for one of them to be the next Governor of Kwara State.
