Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari has tasked Islamic Organizations to rekindle their efforts in the propagation of Islam.
Alhaji Zulu-Gambari dropped this hint while speaking at the Formal Closing Ceremony of Ramadan Lecture Series organized by Islamic Missionaries Association, IMAN, New Yidi Road Ilorin.
Represented by Galadima Ngeri of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Bolaji Gambari charged them to always deploy appropriate Da’wah methodology in communicating to the people.
Alhaji Zulu-Gambari commended IMAN for shouldering the responsibility Islamic propagation since five decades ago.
In his remark, Chairman of the occasion, Founder, BAL Engineering, Engineer Bashir Lawal urged Islamic Scholars to educate Muslims to what is apt for Zakatul-Fitr between cash and foodstuff.
Engineer Lawal lauded IMAN for organizing Ramadan Lectures towards illuminating the minds of Muslims and counseled Muslims to intensify their worship to receive Allah’s mercy.
Similarly, Chairperson of the of occasion, Hajia Adama Ibijoju Belgore charged Muslims to be united and avoid acts that could disintegrate them.
Hajia Belgore who is w retired Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Supreme Court of Nigeria, eulogized IMAN for its annual thought provoking lectures towards reshaping the society.
In his welcome address, National Chairman of the organization, Alhaji Abdullahi Nurudeen Abdullahi-Adana recalled that IMAN started Ramadan lecture series fifty (50) years ago and remains a reference point in educating and enlightening the Ummah and thanked Allah for making it possible to participate in this year’s Programme.
Alhaji Nurudeen-Adana commended all Lecturers, Chairmen, Special Guests, gentlemen of the press and other participants throughout this holy month.
He applauded Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq for the provision of infrastructural faculties to IMAN Schools such as blocks of classrooms, science laboratories, motorized borehole and toilets at IMAN Centre.
Alhaji Nurudeen-Adanah and prayed for the repose of soul of the Founder retired Justice Abdulkadir Orire for his foresight in the establishment of IMAN.
Highpoints of the event were recitation of Qur’an, goodwill messages and reading of the Communique, Dr Idris Agbabiaka.
