Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria has called for more sacrifice on the part of Nigerian Leaders and citizens for prosperous future.
This is contained in the Sallah Message released to mark this year’s Eid-El-Kabir Celebration, jointly signed by the National Co-ordinator of the Group Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim and the National Secretary Dr. Nasir Balogun.
The Group noted that in this hard time, Nigerian Leaders should demonstrate more sacrifice in order to lessen the burden of the masses.
It also called on citizens to continue to pray hard for the success of the Nation at all levels with determination to sacrifice for the survival of the Country.
The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria also commended various Media Organizations for their effective coverage of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir and Hajj matters especially those that assigned reporting crews to Saudi-Arabia to cover this year’s Hajj such as NTA, FRCN, TVC, VON and NAN as their daily reportage has raised the bar in muslim media coverage in Nigeria.
The Group appealed to Media Organizations in the Country to endeavour to balance religious coverage and programmes not only during celebrations but in their day-to-day broadcasting.
