National Sports Festival: Governor Abdulrazaq Set To Reward Medalists, Coaches

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is to host a Special Reception in honour of Team Kwara’s contingent to the National Sports Festival “Gateway 2024” held in Ogun State.
Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji announced this in a statement personally signed by him, in Ilorin
Mallam Mogaji said the Special Reception would take place this week Friday at Kwara State Banquet Hall, Opposite Government House, Ilorin
He announced that all medalists who proudly represented the state will be specially rewarded by the Governor in appreciation of their outstanding performance and dedication.
According to him, in a significant and commendable gesture, Governor AbdulRazaq will also clear the long-standing sign-on fee debts owed to the players and staff of Kwara United Football Club, inherited from previous administrations.
The Executive Chairman pointed out that this decisive action underscores the Governor’s unwavering commitment to sports development, athlete welfare, and institutional accountability in Kwara State.
Mallam Mogaji maintained that the momentous occasion marks another bold step in the Governor’s continuous efforts to reposition sports as a tool for unity, youth engagement, and socio-economic development.
