IPC Alerts  Nigerian Journalists To Shift Attention To Plight Of  People With Disabilities

International Press Centre, IPC has alerted  Nigerian Journalists to shift attention to plight of people living with disabilities to alleviate their sufferings.
Executive Director of the Centre, Lanre Arogundade dropped this hint at the Engagement with Print and Online Media Operational Leaders organized by International Press Centre IPC in collaboration with European Union held in Ilorin.
Mr. Arogundade expressed concern that the plight of people living with disabilities has not been accorded desirable attention.
He urged the conventional and online operators to be more proactive in disability reportage to amplify their situation to appropriate authority to attract succour.
The Executive Director identified them integral part of the society that should not be ignored by journalists.
