Resumption: Schools Record Low Turn In Kwara

Students and pupils of public and private schools in Kwara State today resumed 2025-2026 Academic in line with state government academic calendar.
Staff Reporter who visited some schools within Ilorin metropolis such as oloje, Ogidi, Alfa Yahaya Adeta, Adewole and part of taiwo road reports that the resumption was characterized by low turn out particularly public schools.
Our reporter gathered that the school resumption was laced with early morning rainfall that contributed to the low turn out of pupils and students in most of the schools visited.
Teachers, instructors and other essential workers in most the schools were at the their duty post to set out for their official engagements.
Academic activities have been activated in some of the schools as teachers were sighted taking students in various classes at the time of filing this report.
Some of the teachers who spoke to our reporter noted that arrangements in top gear to ensure conducive leaning atmosphere in the schools.
The teachers maintained that comprehensive review of previous academic year has been undertaken for efficient service delivery.
