Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has described the death of the Commission’s Media Officer, Mallam Yusuf Feruke who died today after a brief illness as a colossal loss to the Commission and the entire media community in Kwara State.
In a condolence message personally signed by him, Coach Mogaji paid glowing tribute to the late journalist, whom he described as a true friend, dedicated professional, and man of impeccable character.
He noted that Mallam Feruke’s passing has created a significant vacuum in the media landscape, given his wealth of experience and the positive impact of his work on society.
On behalf of the Board and staff of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Mogaji extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), and the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) over the loss of the veteran journalist.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the late Mallam Yusuf Feruke Al-Jannat Firdaus and to give his family and the media fraternity the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss
