Grand Finale and Closing Ceremony of Kwara State Qur’an Memorization Competition holds on Sunday.
The Competition will take place at George Innih Stadium Complex Ilorin, beginning at Ten O’Clock in the morning.
A Statement by the Public Relations Officer Kwara State Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Competition in the state, Alhaji Imam Nuhu Abass said Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq would be the Special Guest of Honour while Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari would be the Royal Father of the day.
It said Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu is to chair the occasion while Former Member, Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaja Sikirat Anako is the Chairperson.
The statement noted that Imam Masjid Maimasa, Ojagboro, Ilorin, Professor Yusuf Lanre Badmus is the Guest Speaker while Chairman State Qur’an Committee, Alhaji Shehu Gafar is the Chief Host.
The statement urged the general public to attend the event promptly.
