Global Institute Of Nurses, Midwives, And Allied Health Professionals Signs MoU With Nurse Meet Tech Initiative To Promote Innovation, Digital Literacy

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)has been signed between Nurse Meet Tech Initiative, NMT, Rwanda and Global Institute of Nurses Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (GINMAHP) to share common values in promoting innovation, digital health literacy, women empowerment, ethical practice, and strengthened health systems.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Founder and Executive Director GINMAHP, Professor Khadijat Toyin Musah and Founder & President, Nurse Meet Tech Initiative, Obed Tuyisabe in Rwanda.
The purpose of the MoU is to formalize a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening digital health competencies among nurses and midwives and promoting nurse-led innovation and research in health technology.
It is geared towards advancing mentorship, leadership development, and professional growth and enhancing visibility, advocacy, and policy influence in nursing and midwifery innovation.
Both parties are to benefit from digital health training, workshops, and professional development programs, sharing innovative learning resources and educational materials.
They also consented to co-organize webinars, panel discussions, hackathons, innovation challenges, and conferences, among others.
GINMAHP expressed commitment to provide mentorship, technical guidance, and professional expertise and participate as speakers, mentors, and advisors.
NMT also agreed to ensure active participation and accountability in all joint activities and mobilize nursing and midwifery students and early-career professionals in promoting GINMAHP’s vision and values in Rwanda
Maintain transparency, professionalism, and timely reporting
The MoU takes effect from the date of signing and remains valid for three (3) years, renewable by mutual consent as either Party may terminate this MoU by providing three (3) months’ written notice.
This MoU does not create any financial obligation on either Party unless otherwise agreed in writing through specific project agreements.
