Gov. Abdulrazaq Appoints Prof. Medinat Salman Ag. VC of New Kwara Varsity

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Professor Medinat Folorunsho Salman as Pioneer Acting Vice Chancellor of the newly established Kwara State University of Education (KWSUED) Ilorin.

This is enshrined in a statement his by Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin

The Statement said Professor Folorunsho Salman bagged Bachelor of Education from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1985, Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Ilorin in 1990 and a Doctoral degree in Mathematics Education from University of Ilorin in 1998.

It pointed out that her research interests are Mathematics Education, gender issues in mathematics and science education, and innovation in mathematics education in the developing world.

Until her appointment, the Professor of mathematics education was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Science Education and coordinator of the Educational Technology Centre at the University of Ilorin.

The Statement noted that the appointment is with immediate effect.
