National Hijrah Organisation of Nigeria has called on Nigerian leaders to come up with robust economic policies that can reduce the suffering and economic hardship facing Nigerians.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by its National Chairman, Professor Badmas Olanrewaju Yusuf and the Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Imam Ayinla in Ilorin
The statement urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to find solutions to the economic hardship facing Nigerians most especially when Nigeria as a country is marking her 64th Independence Anniversary.
The organisation advised President to let his 64th Independence Anniversary gift be a relief from hardship in the Nation’s economy.
On Local Government Election held in kwara state, weeks ago, the organisation called on all elected Chairmen and Councillors to rule with fear of Almighty Allah and bring government very close to the people as local government administration plays a major role in community development if properly administered
The Organisation also congratulated Sheikh Ibrahim Zakariyah on his appointment as the new Chief Imam of Iwo land in Oke Ero Local Government of Kwara State and Barrister Adam Olohuntoyin Jamiu on his turbaning as the Chief Imam of Shao, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The National Hijrah therefore charged them to uphold the teachings of Allah and traditions of prophet Muhammad, relate well with their congregation and consult them in decision making to achieve desired results
