Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s Agricultural revolution in Kwara State recognized by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his Independence Day Anniversary Broadcast has been commended
A Former Council Chairman, Asa Local Government Area of the State, Hon Kayode La-Kadri gave the commendation in a statement in Ilorin
Hon La-Kadri who is the Kwara State Chairman of G.16 x-rayed that President Tinubu applauded the Governors particularly, in Kwara, Kebbi, Niger, Jigawa and Nasarawa that have embraced agricultural production programme.
He noted that the President’s appeal to other states to join the Federal Government in investing in mechanized farming is apt to ensure food security in the Country
Hon La-Kadri pointed out that the recent tractors and fertilizers distributed to genuine farmers across the state by the Governor would go a long way in ensuring food sufficiency in the state
He described Governor Abdulrazaq as a pace setter in purposeful leadership being the Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum
The Former Council Chairman eulogized the Sardauna of Ilorin for his laudable achievements in developing the State especially through Agriculture.
Hon La-Kadri urged Governor Abdulrazaq not to relent in his people oriented projects and programmes for the benefits of the citizenry
