JASUTI Applauds Governor AbdulRazaq Over Paid Arears

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been applauded by the Joint Academic Staff Unions of Tertiary Institutions (JASUTI) in the State over the payment of their allowances and arrears.

The Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Arinde made this known while meeting with JASUTI in her office.

She described the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a listening Governor who is always ready to improve the lives of all dedicated workers in the State of Harmony and urged the unions to reciprocate with better service delivery to encourage more rewards.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of JASUTI, Comrade Salahu Omotayo who commended the State Governor for his action at ensuring that the entitlements of his members were promptly paid, disclosed that it was the first time they would receive such arrears from Government and appreciated the government for the kind gesture.

He, however, promised the unflinching support of the Unions to the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
