Yuletide: Kwara Govt Announces Date For End-of-Year Funfair 3.0

Kwara State Government, led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (CON), has fixed Thursday, December 26, 2024, as the date for the third edition of its yearly family funfair at the Amusement Park in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Hon. Eyiwumi Muka Ray, the Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, described the upcoming event as a testament to Governor Abdulrazaq’s commitment to fostering sustainable end-of-year celebrations in the state, building on the successes of previous editions.

According to him, this free and open event aims to strengthen the spirit of unity and love among residents of Kwara State, promoting a sense of belonging and shared celebration

He said  a range of creative attractions and entertainment activities, including rides, game booths, live music, comedy and talent exhibitions, to create unforgettable memories available for all attendees

The SSA to Governor Abdulrazaq also highlighted the dynamic aspect of this edition, disclosing that it will be featuring a renowned actor and filmmaker, Ibrahim Chatta, and live performances by a legendary musician, Alhaji Musiliu Haruna Ishola and comedian Baba Kamo.
