APC Chairman in Kwara State, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for promoting equity and fairness across the state.

This praise was expressed during the Kwara South Summit held at Ajase-Ipo Comprehensive High School Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the State

Prince Sunday Fagbemi emphasized that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has ensured that equity and fairness prevail in every region of the state, allowing all citizens to reap the benefits of democracy.

He cited the Osi Campus in his Ekiti Local Government as a testament to this claim.

The Chairman noted that the Governor’s commitment to equity and fairness is also evident in his hometown, Obbo-Ile, where he constructed a long-abandoned road despite the area having a relatively small population.

According to Prince Sunday Fagbemi, the impact of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration is visible in all 193 wards of the state, with noticeable improvements in each area.

The Chairman urged Kwara Southerners and people from other regions to support the governor’s choice of successor, ensuring continuity of the good work already begun.

Prince Sunday Fagbemi encouraged Kwara Southerners to rediscover their lost unity and regain their former influence in the state.

He highlighted that when Kwara was first created, Kwara Southerners held prominent government positions due to their unity of purpose.

The Chairman emphasized that this unity was evident in the shared goals and discussions among the Igbominas, Ibolos, and Ekitis. He urged the people to reclaim their former glory and positively impact the state.

He added that, by regaining their unity and influence, Kwara Southerners can work together to drive positive change and development in the state.

The programme culminated in a unanimous declaration supporting a Kwara North Governorship candidacy come 2027.

Dignitaries at the occasion are; traditional rulers from Kwara South Senatorial District, members of the State House of Assembly, the 7 local government Chairmen in the district including party faithful and other prominent members of the society.
