Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Mogaji has identified sports as a money spinning venture.
Mallam Mogaji made the assertion while featuring on a Radio Programme in Ilorin
He encouraged the youth to venture into sports to earn a living and urged them to shun social vices.
The Executive Chairman noted that Kwara State is blessed with talented players in many sporting activities that had won medals for the state.
He explained that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has invested heavily in the sports sector.
Mallam Mogaji therefore tasked inhabitants of the state to always visit the stadium complex to explore more than 20 sporting facilities.
Also Speaking, Director of Sports, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako observed that the Sports Commission is making efforts to resuscitate some sports going into extinction.
Alhaji Bako charged residents to engage in sporting activities and regular exercise to boost their health status.
