Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
In a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed, and Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, the Union joined well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating the life and achievements of the Governor.
The statement described him as a visionary leader and a transformative force in Kwara State.
The NUJ lauded AbdulRazaq’s remarkable strides in governance cutting across infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development over the past five years, noting that his leadership has repositioned Kwara as a model of progress and good governance.
The Union identified him as the genuine architect of modern Kwara and commended his unwavering commitment to people-oriented policies.
According to the statement, as the Governor marks this milestone, the NUJ pray for Allah’s continued guidance, sound health, long life, and wisdom for him.
It urged the Governor to remain steadfast in his mission to advance Kwara State and uplift the lives of its people.
The Union reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the government in promoting developmental journalism that would further enhance good governance and progress in the state.
