Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi has been sacked.
President Bola Tinubu approved her removal along with some other major shake-ups in some Universities across the country.
Prof. Maikudi is immediately replaced by Professor Lar Patricia Manko, who will serve as Acting Vice-Chancellor for a six-month term.
Consequently, the President also approved the appointment of Senator Lanre Tejuoso as the new Pro-Chancellor of the University, while Senator Joy Emordi now takes over as Pro-Chancellor at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
