Kwara State Christian pilgrims have showered prayers on Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The pilgrims, who touched down in Jordan safely on Saturday around 5:45am Nigerian time, prayed to God to continue to protect and guide President Tinubu and Governor AbdulRazaq as they continue to pilot the affairs of Nigerians and Kwarans, respectively.
Acknowledging Governor AbdulRazaq’s presence and kind gesture, the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop (Prof) Stephen, said it was his first time seeing a governor accompanying the prospective Christian pilgrims of his state to the airport.
Bishop (Prof) Stephen, who joined the Kwara Christian pilgrims in commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, added that his gesture towards the pilgrims underscores his love for the good people of Kwara State.
The pilgrimage activities for 2025 have begun fully. Like other Christian pilgrims from other countries, Kwara Christian pilgrims are visiting sacred places in Jordan and Israel for meditation and prayers before they return to Nigeria.
