Those who know him will agree with me that Prof. Abdulraheem Adaramaja is the epitome of compassion and selfless service to humanity. He is humanist personified and a leader webbs with cerebral wittily.
The Story of Prof. Shehu Abdulraheem Adaramaja is no doubt likened to that of a star at its peak of brightness.
Amidst numerous accomplishments and positive contributions to the growth of educational development of his people, Kwara youths and the society at large, he has remain home and resolutes.
A cerebral sage and academician, here is a reliable, large hearted and high profile politician cum administrator, in person of Prof Shehu Abdulraheem Adaramaja, the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), Ilorin.
Hails from Otte in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, a thorough bred Islamic scholar and very vast in western education.
His responsibilities in Kwara SUBEB includes policy implementation, school management, teacher training, curriculum development, infrastructure development, resource allocation, monitoring and evaluation etc.
These responsibilities are aimed at ensuring that basic education in Kwara State is on a sound footing.
Even a naysayer will agree that the portfolio of Executive Chairman, Kwara State KWSUBEB is overwhelming and needs a highly literate minded personality to handle the agency of government.
Adaramaja from all indices is a square peg in a square hole, and without prejudice to fact, he is fit for the job.
He was reappointed the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq on the 14th January, 2025 for performing creditably and excellently in his first tenure.
The KWSUBEB boss,Adaramaja stepped up his good works and was recognized at the National level, has he emerged the Dean of the Forum of Chairmen of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in Nigeria.
Reacting to his unanimous choice at a media chat in Ilorin, Prof. Adaramaja dedicated the feat to the KWSUBEB Team under the leadership of His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.
It is crystally unambiguous the fact that successful men become success only because they acquire the habit of thinking in terms of success.
This is what has constantly kept Professor Shehu Abdulraheem Adaramaja on top of his career, assignment and endeavors.
An Ilorin based business mogue, Engr. Abdulrahman Giwa, once, said, “Professor Shehu Abdulraheem Adaramaja is one of the personalities you will encounter everyday without knowing he is a top shot.
“His unassuming and self effacing persona is a breath of fresh air, particularly against the backdrop of arrogance normally displayed by our public office holders in Nigeria”.

By way of advice, KWSUBEB should consider more advocacy, public enlightenment and publications to inform the citizenry on its activities and Programmes.
This will document the monumental achievements of the board and will serve as a documentary handbook for future reference.
In addendum to this, radio programs in various local languages should also be put in place as a medium of reaching various publics.
An Interactive village meetings to enhance proper interface with stakeholders and the general public should also be pursued vigorously.
