Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has hosted members of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Media Centre (AAMC), Kwara online publishers and other new media personalities in the state to break the Ramadan and Lent fasting at the Ilorin Club along Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Before the feast, the members of his new media team observed a one-minute silence for one of them, Purity Boom, a loyal and committed follower of Governor AbdulRazaq who passed away a few months ago after a brief illness.
The Governor represented by his Senior Special Assistant on New Media Hon. Fafoluyi Olayinka M. Solace appreciated members of the AAMC for their continued support for the Kwara State government under his visionary and exemplary leadership.
Hon. Solace, who handed Governor AbdulRazaq’s Ramadan and Lent package to members of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Media Centre (AAMC), noted that the governor was very much aware of their relentless efforts in promoting his good works, particularly the developmental rural-urban renewal initiative.
The media group expressed its heartfelt appreciation to the people’s governor for hosting them to Iftar.
According to him, it is a sign that he values their promotion of his developmental strides in the state. The team also thanked the governor for the appointments, federal and state jobs he offered its members, noting that none of its members would have held any elective position today without his support and exemplary leadership.
The SSA also commended the online publishers across the state present, saying the governor appreciates their balanced and factual reporting. However, he urged them not to deviate from the core ethics of journalism.
