Coach Mogaji Reaffirms Commitment To Youth Engagement In Sports To Curb Vices

Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji has reaffirmed Kwara State Government commitment towards youth engagement in sports reduce social vices to its lowest ebb in the society
Coach Mogaji dropped the hint while speaking at the 2nd Kwara Stakeholders’ Summit on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control in Ilorin.
He said Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s led administration would not be deterred in youth empowerment as sports plays crucial role in keeping young people positively engaged.
He assured stakeholders that the Sports Commission would continue to implement initiatives aimed at preventing drug abuse within the sports sector.
Coach Mogaji therefore called on parents and guardians to encourage their children to actively participate in sports as a means of preventing drug abuse and other immoral acts
The summit which brought together government officials, sports administrators, educators, security agencies, and civil society organizations, focused on strategies to curb drug abuse among youths in Kwara State.
