Ilorin-Based Islamic Scholar, Khalifah Abdulfatai Abdullahi-Pakoyi has cautioned government traffic managers to desist from illegal collection of levies from commuters to earn Allah’s mercy.
Khalifah Abdullahi -Pakoyi gave the caution while delivering a lecture at Laylatulkqodir organized by Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority, KWARTMA Muslim Community in Ilorin.
He charged security agents to always discharge their official duties with the fear of Allah.
The Cleric encouraged Muslims to combine religiosity with good deeds to save them from incurring Allah’s wrath.
Khalifah Abdullahi-Pakoyi also advised the congregation to eschew penchant for worldly affairs that could lead them corrupt tendencies.
The Islamic Preacher urged Muslim Ummah to effectively utilize the period of Laylatulkqodir to rekindle their spiritual efforts to receive rewards of the only month and beyond.
Also, Chief Imam KWARTMA Central Mosque, Uztaz Abdulqodir Abdullahi-Babawoli said the Laylatulkqodir was organized supplicate to Allah.
Uztaz Abdullahi-Babawoli eulogized the management and staff of the agency for supporting the Muslim Ummah towards this year’s successful Laylatulkqodir.
In his remark, Chief Imam, Onikanga Ga-Imam, Ilorin, Uztaz Imam Mahmud-Shitta, counseled officers and men of KWARTMA to always work with integrity and avoid extortion of the people.
He described their work as delicate and prayed Allah to always safeguard them in their official and private engagements.
