Adeyeye Takes Charge At KWASAA, Promises Reform, Revenue Growth

 Newly appointed Acting General Manager (GM) of the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), Mr. Toba Adeyeye officially assumed office
As part of his first official engagement, he paid a courtesy visit on the State Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Bola Olukoju in her office.
Welcoming the new GM, Mrs Olukoju charged him to be proactive and fully committed to the ongoing restructuring of the agency.
She emphasized that the reforms being embarked upon by the state government, from the setup of the Signage Taskforce and developing a new framework for the agency aimed at aligning the signage and advertising sector with global best practices.
According to her, the restructuring is designed to promote professionalism, compliance, and ethical standards while also creating a structured and investor-friendly environment for the advertising industry in the State.
In his remarks, Mr. Toba Adeyeye expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the opportunity to serve the state in this capacity.
He described the appointment as a call to service and pledged to bring his wealth of professional experience to bear in repositioning KWASAA for greater impact.
The new KWASAA boss assured the Commissioner that under his leadership, the agency would pursue its mandate without compromise.
Mr. Adeyeye reiterated his commitment to driving reforms that will elevate industry standards, improve regulatory compliance, and boost the state’s internally generated revenue.
He stressed that non-compliant and substandard advertising structures would no longer be tolerated, adding that enforcement mechanisms would be strengthened to ensure full adherence to regulatory guidelines.
The Acting GM also called on all practitioners and business owners to align with the new direction and embrace the reforms, assuring them that the agency is committed to fostering a professional, transparent, and innovation-driven advertising ecosystem in Kwara State.
