Hosting Kwara United CAF Confederation home games in Ilorin, Kwara state will project the name of the state beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Executive Chairman of the state Sports Commission Coach Bola Mogaji  said this during an interview with Kwara state Television crew in his office this afternoon.
Mogaji explained that it is logical for the state which has spent so much money to bring the coverlet Cup to to state to see to it that the home games of the competition is brought to the people of the state and its environs.
What the state is waiting for now is for the authorities concerned to come tell us what to do, the requisite to make our stadium legible for competition.
Speaking further, he pointed out that no right thinking person will want the home matches of Kwara United in the continental competition to taken away as it comes with a lot of socioeconomic values.
Hoteliers, shop owners and  others will make brisk business and will as well project the name of state to outsiders  who will like to  find out where the team comes from.
Those are the values of things playing our watches here Ilorin  will give to us, it is a big thing for the government, I am sure many people will appreciate the government for the efforts, he added.
Still talking on the historic Federation Cup victory, Mogaji appreciated the  key roll  by the Sports Writers Associations of Nigeria (SWAN)   in giving the historic Cup  final a very wide publicly.
