Fidau was today held for the repose of the soul of late Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia, mother of Ibrahim Muhammad Ajia.
The Fidau led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Shaikh Bashir Muhammad Solihu took place at Ajia Ogbounde Compound, Agaka, Ilorin.
Shaikh Muhammad Solihu prayed Allah to forgive the deceased of her inadequacies and grant Al-Janat Fridous
He also offered prayers for children of late Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia for Allah to strengthen them following the demise of their late matriarch.
The Chief Imam, however led other Islamic clerics in recitation of some portions of glorious Qur’an for Allah grant late Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia eternal rest.
In his Lecture, Ilorin-based prominent Islamic Preacher, Shaikh Sulaiman Danboro cautioned Muslim Ummah against acts that could incur Allah’s wrath and described death as certain to all living souls.
Shaikh Danboronu identified Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia as a dutiful, generous and religious mother with unblemished disposition.
Also, a Cleric, an Islamic Scholar, Uztaz Abdulrazaq Aduagba x-rayed the importance of motherhood to children and charged the congregation to always take care of their parents unconditionally.
Uztaz Aduagba eulogized late Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia for successfully bequeathing sound education on her children and wards.
In an interview with newsmen, one of the children of the deceased, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Ajia described their late mother as a disciplinarian who never promoted or practiced discrimination.
Alhaji Muhammed Ajia noted that their late matriarch would be greatly missed as a result of her immeasurable impact on them.
Late Alhaja Maryam Muhammad Ajia passed on last Sunday and survived by children and grand children.
