National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially renewed the Hajj operating license of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
Zonal Coordinator of the Commission in charge of Kwara, Ondo, and Ekiti States, Alhaji Lawal Kaseem Yinka announced this during a Courtesy visit to the Board’s Headquarters in Ilorin.
Alhaji Yinka stated that the renewal is granted after a thorough review of Board’s full compliance with all operational requirements and its state of readiness.
According to him, the Commission is satisfied with the working tools, facilities, and administrative structure the Kwara State Board has in place.
He pointed out that this renewal is a green light for all intending pilgrims from Kwara State, including non indigenes resident to confidently begin their preparations for the 2026 spiritual journey.
Responding, Executive Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, received the NAHCON delegation.
Represented by the Chief Admin Officer, Hajia Ramat Alaaya, alongside other senior management staff.
The delegation was conducted on an extensive facility tour for inspection of key departments, including the Data Processing Unit, Accounts Department, Conference Hall, Administrative Offices, Procurement Unit, Press Unit, and the Planning Department, further underscoring the Board’s operational capacity.
