Secretary to Kwara State Government, Professor Mamman Saba Jibril, has decried the current trend of civil servants that are due for retirement lobbying for service extension.
Professor Jibril made this known at the sendoff organized for the recently Retired Staff of the Governor’s Office, Ilorin
He warned workers to desist from such an act to retain the honour of the service
The SSG lamented that this attitude has often grievously impacted the dignity and respect of the workers and also stalls carrier progression.
Professor Jibril observed that workers who engaged in such behaviour lose their respect and pride amongst other civil servants and the public.
