Nigeria’s Defence Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has resigned from his position, citing health reasons.
The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the development in a statement today
In the letter, Alhaji Badaru cited poor health as the reason for stepping down.
President Tinubu has accepted the resignation and expressed gratitude for the minister’s service to the nation.
