Ilorin Emirate Community of Kwara State University under the leadership of Professor Ibrahim Laro Abubakar has congratulated Dr. Rahman Oladimeji Mustapha Asunnara on his reappointment as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences of the institution.
The Community in Congratulatory Message by its Secretary General, Doctor Abdullahi A. Bakare identified the appointee as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Entrepreneurship.
According to the statement, Doctor Mustapha is a Fellow and the State Coordinator, Institute of Creative and Innovative Management of Nigeria and a Fellow and Chairman of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Ilorin Chapter.
It said he is also a Fellow and Council Member of Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management, a member of the British Academy of Management, Birmingham, UK, a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN), a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), and the ISMN Coordinator in Kwara State.
The KWASU Ilorin Emirate Community pointed out that Dr. Rahman Mustapha’s academic prowess is not a surprise to the Ilorin Emirate Community in KWASU as he is simply walking the scholarly path of his great-grandfathers.
The statement explained that Dr. Rahman Mustapha is today the Mufasir (Quranic exegete) of the daily Tafsir during Ramadan for the whole Balogun Fulani District, making him both the heir and custodian of a living family tradition.
It maintained that Dr Mustapha was already an accomplished Bank Official that have served in various executive positions in the Banking Industry and he is a devoted son of the soil whose loyalty to his homeland transcends personal comfort.
