Governor Zulum Declares Open National Qur’an Memorization Competition In Maiduguri

This year’s National Qur’an Memorisation Competition begins today at the University of Maiduguri.
The competition was declared open Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.
Governor Zulum described the National Competition as a unique Event as it features memorizers of the Holy Qur’an who are putting its contents into action in their moral and spiritual lives.
He commended the Officials and Participants and urged them to put out their best throughout the ten-day Competition.
Kwara State Contingent led by the State Coordinator, Sheikh Waliyullahi Aliyy-Kamal to this year’s Competition arrived safely in Maiduguri and have joined their colleagues from other States in the Federation for the National Contest.
